The World Wide destruction of the food chain

With Specific reference to South African States

The global market dominance of multinational corporations (MNCs) throughout the food system impacts smaller, independent operators and producers, and also influences significantly the foods that consumers have access to and eat, with implications for public health, hunger and nutrition. The ownership and market share of these conglomerates potentially undermines the development agendas of many countries, and contributes to aggregate wealth and also to poverty and inequality.

So on the one side of the battle you have this tidal wave of destruction, in the form of The ever increasing power of the Multi National Food Corporations, who are in no small way linked into the Fertilizer and Pesticide companies, which ultimately are controlled by the Big Pharmaceutical operations.

So how the game works is as follows
Destroy the soil- By acquiring farm after farm after farm. Reduce the demand for nutritional food, by placing price driven pressure on the farmers to produce sugar and grain based crops. Addict the farmer to increasing use of fertiliser and pesticide. Control the market through the Agro Food Processing companies, which take primarily corn and sugar based stock and process it into a plethora of neatly packaged food stuffs which are fundamentally nutrition deficient. Stomach filling and highly addictive to the consumer..

Feed the consumer on Junk and processed food for twenty odd years and you start to have a pandemic of epic proportions of the early onset of obesity, diabesity and cancer.

This significantly denudes the work force, degrades the quality of life of the individual and enslaves him to long term chronic disease and a heavy reliance on schedule medication for survival and that is the state of war on the populace in the Western World coming soon to South America and Sub Saharan Africa

There is solution.... With the South African population, now reaching historically high levels of unemployment, and the demographic being such that 85% of the population is under the age of 30. There is the opportunity to educate this section of the population, to buy strongly into the concept that there are no survival solution available to them in the Linear economy.. The Linear economy is on a rapid fall down the steep cliff to extinction.

A brief overlook at the state of the planet, will show that the implementation of the linear economy over the past mere 150 years has down more to destroy the ecosystem of Planet earth, that all natural and man made disasters over the past 3500 years of recorded History.

Processed sugar is the greatest weapon of mass destruction and it alone has directly led to the death of more people than every war than has every been fought on the planet... (now there is food for thought)

So how do we fix this

Define the End Goal.... Food security and self sufficiency for every citizen in South Africa as enshrined in the constitution.

Access to clean water Access to clean air Freedom of association

We do not want, nor do we need to be dependent on any Government institution, regulation, system or oversight. They are irrelevant, useless and only stand as a major league obstacle in our path

We Place all our skills talents and resources in the hands of and at the disposal of Almighty God

Where do we start:

Industrial scale composting using the Riteways Tallboy composter
